10.5 What actions of an individual shipper may limit or reduce a household goods motor carrier's normal liability?

The transportation of perishable, dangerous, or hazardous articles included in the shipment without the household goods carrier's knowledge. If an individual shipper fails to notify the household goods carrier in writing of articles valued at more than $100 per pound ($220 per kilogram). Refer to 49 CFR 375.203.
