10.8 Arbitration Program Requirement

Household goods motor carriers must have an arbitration program for individual shippers to resolve disputes about property loss and damage and disputes about carrier charges. A carrier’s arbitration program must meet the 11 elements found in 49 CFR 375.211

A carrier must provide a shipper with a concise, easy-to-read, accurate summary of its arbitration program, including the items required by 49 CFR 375.211.
