How to Log In via the FMCSA Portal

To protect your data and make access more secure, the CSA web systems (CSA Outreach, the CSA Prioritization Preview, and the Activity Center for Enforcement) now require multifactor authentication. Users will no longer enter a Portal user ID and passwords or a U.S. DOT Number and PIN.

  3. Step Three After logging in to the FMCSA Portal, select "CSA Outreach (ACE)" or "CSA Prioritization Preview" from the “Available FMCSA Systems” list, then click the “Go” button. This will take you to that CSA web system as a logged in user.

Why do I need a account? allows non-Federal users, including motor carriers and State enforcement, to sign in to the CSA web systems safely and securely. You will use your username (email address) and password each time you log in to the CSA web systems.

Note: Federal employees and contractors do not need a account, use the link above to log in via MyAccess using your PIV card.

If I already have a account, do I need to create a new one?

No. If you already have a account, for example to access a different government system, you can log in using your existing account to access the CSA web systems.
