SMS Updated

FMCSA has updated the CSA SMS Website with the April 27, 2018 results.

Motor carriers that received violations related to Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), found during roadside inspections that occurred as of April 1, 2018, will see them reflected in their HOS Compliance BASIC in the SMS.

In addition, FMCSA also made violation changes to the SMS for consistency. More information is available in the SMS Methodology document and the SMS Appendix A spreadsheet.

Crash Preventability Demonstration Program

Carriers participating in FMCSA’s Crash Preventability Demonstration Program will continue to see the Agency’s final determinations on SMS for crashes reviewed as part of the program. Logged-in carriers and enforcement users with crashes determined to be Not Preventable as part of the program can view measures and percentiles calculated with and without those crashes.
