Employers and Owner-Operators: Purchase a Query Plan in the Clearinghouse

Employers of CDL drivers can now purchase a query plan in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. Purchasing a query plan enables employers, and their designated consortia/third-party administrators (C/TPAs), to conduct queries for all current and potential new employees, as required per § 382.701. This requirement includes owner-operators (drivers who own their own business and employ themselves as CDL drivers).

Query plans may be purchased only on the FMCSA Clearinghouse website by registered employers. Visit https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/query/plan to learn more. Registered employers can purchase a query plan today.

FMCSA Updates SMS Website

FMCSA has updated the CSA SMS Website with the October 25, 2019 results. Complete SMS results are available to enforcement users and motor carriers that are logged into the SMS. Logged-in enforcement users can view all carrier safety data, while logged-in motor carriers can only view their own data.
