FMCSA Updates SMS Website

FMCSA has updated the SMS Website with the December 31, 2021 results. Complete SMS results are available to enforcement users and motor carriers that are logged into the SMS Website.

With this update, FMCSA has aligned SMS with the latest changes to violations recorded as part of the roadside inspection program. FMCSA added Other Log/Form & Manner violation 395.22(b)(2)(ii) to the HOS Compliance BASIC. More details are available in Version 3.13 of the SMS Methodology.

Have You Completed Your Annual Clearinghouse Queries?

In addition to conducting pre-employment queries, employers are required to query each CDL driver they employ at least once a year. The annual query is tracked on a rolling 12-month basis. This means if you conducted your last annual queries in January 2021, it is time to conduct your next round of annual queries.
